Health Claims Processing Intern (Doctor/MBBS)

Job Description:
We are seeking a Health Claims Processing Intern who is a recent MBBS graduate and is interested in transitioning into the health insurance space. This is a part-time internship, ideal for someone looking to apply their medical knowledge to a rapidly growing field. You will gain exposure to health insurance processes, claim analysis, and the intersection of healthcare and insurance technology.

In this role, you’ll work closely with hospital clients to analyze and address challenges in health claims processing, collaborating with AI-driven systems and insurance desks. Core Skills:

  1. Medical Knowledge: Strong understanding of medical terminology, diagnoses, and treatment protocols, enabling you to accurately assess health claims and ensure alignment with clinical standards.
  2. Claims Analysis: Ability to review and interpret health insurance claims data, ensuring it is consistent with hospital documentation and patient care details.
  3. Client Interaction: Comfortably engaging with hospital staff, insurance claim desks, and other stakeholders to understand the challenges in claims processing and provide actionable insights.
  4. Data Review and AI Interaction: Experience or interest in working with digitized health claims data and AI systems. Identifying patterns or inconsistencies in data to support process improvements. __________________________________________________________________________________________ Required Skills:
  5. Insurance Understanding: Familiarity with basic insurance processes and terminologies related to health claims (e.g., policy types, reimbursement procedures, claims submission, etc.). This knowledge will help bridge the gap between medical data and insurance workflows.
